1608 Camosun St., Victoria, BC

What to Expect

We are health care practitioners who take a complementary and integrative approach to the medical treatments that you are currently taking. We strive to work with your health care team. We are trained to understand interactions between naturopathic medicine and any pharmaceutical drugs you may be taking.

Naturopathic Consult: New Patient Visit

Your first visit will be 1.5 hours for adults and 1 hour 15 min for kids. The goal of this visit is to gather information so that we can understand your health concerns. We will take a detailed health history and ask questions about lifestyle, diet, medications and family history. A physical exam will be performed which will give us insight from both a western and eastern medical perspective. We may recommend further testing and will get started with a treatment plan that may include lifestyle and nutrition recommendations.

Naturopathic Consult: Second Visit

Your second visit is 1 hour in duration and is generally booked 4-6 weeks after your initial visit (though recommendations are on an individual basis). During this visit we will talk about the big picture of your health concerns, offer further treatment options and make lifestyle and dietary recommendations.

Follow-up Visits

Follow-up visits are generally scheduled for 45 min and will be recommended on an individual basis. At times we can recommend shorter visits, and of course we only bill for the amount of time that we use.

Complementary and Integrative Medicine

Some patients seek out naturopathic medicine as an alternative to conventional medicine. However, the vast majority of the patients we see are under the care of other health care practitioners such as: a family physician, midwife, fertility specialist, pediatrician or other specialist. We are health care practitioners who take a complementary and integrative approach to the medical treatments that you are currently taking. We strive to work with your health care team. We are trained to understand interactions between naturopathic medicine and any pharmaceutical drugs you may be taking.

Not sure if naturopathic medicine is appropriate for you?

We are always happy to offer a complimentary 15 min consult to discuss our approach to health and healing and answer any questions that you may have.
